Deserts near Warm Springs, Oregon

Although the insects of Oregon are small and seasonal, we are blessed in this state with a diversity of habitats.  Oregon is a very green state, with many kinds of forests.  From Portland we head West an hour and a half to get to the Pacific Ocean.  An hour North and we reach Mt. Saint Helens in Washington.  An hour and a half to the East and we arrive at Mt. Hood.  Just beyond Mt. Hood we arrive in the deserts near Warm Springs.
