Oryctes rhinoceros (Linnaeus)

    Big and hungry!  Beetle larvae eat a mixture of decaying wood and leaves, and sometimes a few other ingredients.  Think of them as beetle-caterpillars!  The bite from the mandibles can pierce the skin, so be careful!  (not like you would touch them anyway, right ;-)
