Baculum nematodes

This is one of my favorite species!.  The females have small interesting, ear-like extensions on their heads.  Some segments in the body alternate in green and brown.  The males can be very beautiful.  They are thin with orange bodies and dark-green legs.

Foodplants: bramble

Note 2 growths on head (6th-instar female)

The mature male's abdomen is often held up, similar to a mantid!
