Baculum thaii (PSG 22) This is a species from Thailand. The males of this species are very thin. The nymph pictured below (middle on bottom, on hawthorn) is a 2 day old hatchling. It's even more slender than nymphs of Sipyloidea sipylus. My 2nd and 3rd instar nymphs have striped legs. The adults have very interesting little ear-like protrusions on their heads, which seem to be a characteristic of many Baculum species (B. extradentatum and B. nematodes for example).
