Medauroidea extradentata(PSG 5)

Medauroidea extradentata is a very stick-like species with two devil-like horns sprouting from its head.   Smaller pointed bumps run along portions of it's thorax.  Most specimens have small flanges on the middle set of legs, and minute spikes up and down the legs.  They originate from Vietnam.  The species is parthenogenetic in most cultures (including mine), so they are all female, but males are fairly common in some cultures.  The ova have a salt and pepper appearance, with a black capitulum (cap).

Foodplants:  bramble, hawthorn, oak, red maple, rose
