Lamponius guerini (PSG 101)

This is a stick-insect from Guadeloupe (Island).  Females have similar patterning, with different intensities of color.  Here are two female adult pets (named Davina and Vickie), and ova.  These are very active stick-insects when held, and don't seem to mind it at all.  They will eat many different things.  I believe the white on brown coloration is selected adaptation which mimics bird-droppings, or possibly lichen.  So, they look like unappetizing sticks.

Foodplants: bramble, ivy, oak, pear, raspberry, red maple, rose
