Rhaphiderus scabrosus (82)

This species is a very bright shade of neon yellow-green, and they have very large eyes.  They are actually quite short when mature, about the length of A. asperrimus, but they are very broad.  Amazing patterns of stripes zig-zag across the bodies of many of the older nymphs.  These stripes seem to fade as the nymph molts.

Foodplants: eucalyptus, Hypericum,  rhododendron

At the 4th-instar, the males abdomen becomes noticeably more angular than the females. 4th-instar: Begins to get small bumps on thorax.

1st instar (hopefully a better picture soon)
